Avocado Chocolate Truffles

Prep Time: 20 minutes 

Cooking time: 5 minutes 

Serves: Makes about 12-15 chocolate balls


  • 2 medium avocados, mashed 

  • 150g of 90% dark chocolate 

  • Pinch of salt

  • 4 tsp on xylitol and 2 tsp of granulated stevia 



  1. Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl over boiling water (on a medium heat)

  2. Add the mashed avocado, xylitol, stevia and salt – mix.

  3. Leave in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes until hard enough to roll

  4. Roll into balls, place on a plate and enjoy

These are great kept in the freezer too, and then just get out a couple each day – that’s what I do to make sure I don’t eat them all at once.
